The Right Camera for Your Project
Camera choices through the 1980's and early 2000's was simple. The usual question was: "What camera do you use, Sony™ or Ikegami™?" These days it's more complicated as cameras and recording devices are becoming more specialized and greater choices with an ever-changing line of cameras from Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Black Magic Design, and Arri, which are only some of the current widely used cameras.
Jeremy Productions considers camera trends important to keep up with along with understanding the importance of shooting with a camera universal with client's needs. We own two of Sony's cinema line cameras: (2) PXW FX9s and (2) FX3s, providing flexibility in your production needs. Shooting in either S-Log or S-Cinetone these cameras provide exceptional resolution and image quality and are the most requested for a majority of productions today. If you do have a different camera preference or currently using a different camera, we can provide that camera for your production.
With the multiple camera options available and producers working remotely through the pandemic and as the pandemic subsides, we can offer the possibility to conduct your interviews remotely and if desired be there remotely to help guide through b-roll needed. With multiple video capture boxes and wireless video transmitter, there's no need for the camera to be tethered to the computer.
"I believe that today's cameras are only a small part of what makes a good image; the rest is light and composition. A good DP is not known by what camera he uses, but how he uses it."
